What makes SJU different?

The thing that makes SJU different is the fact that it is so well-rounded in every aspect you could probably think of; academics, sports, faith and religion, diversity, engagement and activities, leadership and so much more; and it is the continued success of each of these aspects that we strive to uphold, that makes us such a pristine University.

What's your favorite memory as a Johnny?

My favorite memories so far would have to be a tie between the annual winter carnival on the Great Lawn and St. Johns' first ever J'ouvert Celebration.

Why did you choose SJU?

When deciding on what college to attend, I wanted to choose a school that was very diverse; in that they would accept me as an individual, but also be rich in different cultures, ethnic backgrounds and personalities that I could learn new things from and about on my college journey. St. John's was just the right pick for this and much more.

How have you changed since becoming a Johnny?

Being a Johnny has highly encouraged me to be more of who I am genuinely, and decisive in the pursuit of MY future and the life that I have imagined for myself. It has taught me that I am the author of this book that is my life and I have complete control over what I desire my ending to be like. As such, I have began to act accordingly as I take a step each day into molding my future.
