Tour Guide at St. John's University
Class of 2020
Hometown: New York, NY
Major: Adolescent Education
My favorite memory as a Johnny would have to be Tip-Off. It was such a fun event since thousands of students attended. Everyone was loud and proud to be a part of the school. There is so much school spirit!
What makes SJU different is the fact that they offer so many tools/activities for the students to use, they are easy to access, and they are completely free.
When I applied to college, I knew I wanted to stay in NYC. Even though I wanted to stay in NYC, I wanted to be a part of a traditional college setting. I wanted the school I went to to have a campus. St. John's had that.
I have stepped out of my comfort zone a lot more often. SJU has so many activities going on and offers so many opportunities that it's inevitable to stay in your comfort zone. I've achieved so many things because SJ encouraged me to attempt it!
