My favorite memory as Johnny has to be the Winter Carnival which took place right before finals. It was such a great stress reliever while watching the tree lighting, fireworks and the free food from the food trucks !! I also enjoyed the horse rides around campus and the christmas carolers.
Picking a college was a difficult decision, but I chose St. John's University because of its amazing opportunities like study abroad and global medical brigades as well as its direct connection to New York City. I was searching for a college that was not too small, but not too large and was extremely safe. St. John's offered everything I was looking for in a college campus and even had the Physician Assistant Program I was interested in.
Becoming a Johnny changed me in such a positive way. I became more independent being that we are just a subway ride to the city and became involved in organizations that I never thought I would be interested in. Becoming a Jonny pushed me to become a better person through the many service opportunities the school offers me.
St. John's University is one of the most diverse colleges I have ever visited thus giving me an easy way to transition and make new friends. Also, St. John's offers freshman students the chance to study abroad through or Global Passport Program just for $500 on one of our SJU campuses in Paris or Rome which is extremely different from other colleges.
