Tour Guide at St. John's University
Class of 2019
Hometown: Hauppauge , NY
Since I stated attending St. John's I have been exposed to many different events and cultures. I believe that I am more culturally diverse and more open to trying new things out of my comfort zone.
My favorite memory as a Johnny was when St. John's versed Syracuse and won at Madison Square Garden. The energy in the student section was remarkable and I felt as if everyone in MSG was screaming for our team. When the game ended and we stood victorious everyone was chanting "We are New York's Team." That is just one of my favorite memories of being a Johnny.
The moment I stepped on the SJU Queens Campus I knew that St. John's was for me. I loved the location of our campus, how close we are to the city and for me, not too far from home. I loved the scenery on the campus and I have learned that the campus is gorgeous all year round. I was so impressed when I came to Accepted Students Day, the music was blasting, balloons were everywhere and everyone on campus had a smile on their face, that is when I knew I wanted to call St. John's my home.
SJU stood out to me because of the fun atmosphere and St. John's pride within all of the students. There is always a fun event or activity taking place at SJU where everyone is always welcome. I also love the energy throughout the campus when all the students come out to support our sports teams.
