Tour Guide at St. John's University
Class of 2022
Hometown: Reading, MA
My favorite memory would have to be getting a bid to my sorority. Greek life has given me so many opportunities at St. John's. I've met amazing people, become more involved on campus and have been given great leadership opportunities.
St. John's stands out from other schools because of its real campus while still being relatively close to the city. While it may not be directly in the middle of Manhattan, it offers the best of both worlds to students who may or may not be from the New York area. Classes take field trips to different museums, exhibits and areas of New York City and at the same time, we have a beautiful, spread out campus with green areas, dining halls and more that you would typically imagine when picturing your average college campus.
I've become a more personable and independent person; I've become more passionate about the important things in my life and have learned how to deal with difficult situations.
I chose St. John's because of the opportunity it offered me. I was interested in being in New York City and knew the photography program here would enhance my skills, setting me up for a successful future.
