To me what makes SJU different is the family feel you receive as a student here. I can see any of my teachers that I've had in the pass and they could still remember my name and where I was from. I think it's amazing that we are not just a face in the class room but a name in the class room and having about 16,000 undergraduates that's pretty hard to do.
Since becoming a Johnny, I feel that I've became more of a leader and I am able to expresses my thoughts and ideas more freely. Also I feel that I have grown in my faith also, I used to rarely go to church at home, however, here I would never miss a mass on Sunday.
I chose SJU because I loved the atmosphere it had. It really embodied everything I was looking for in a school. It upheld all the core values that I wanted to have in a college.
My favorite memory as a Johnny would definitely be going to my first basketball game at MSG to watch our team. Our school has such great spirit and I loved being apart of it.
