I remember during my freshman year when I first watched the lighting of the Christmas tree and the fireworks show that followed right after. I was in such awe, and was overcome with joy because I was really able to feel the love and joy of the holiday season. It felt magical, it felt like the Christmas in the movies.
Since I have become a Johnny, I have matured and grown as an individual. I know myself better and am aware of the value that I bring. Being a Johnny has allowed me to express and embrace my individuality.
SJU is one of the few places in New York City, where you can actually get the feel of living on an actual college campus, while at the same time living in an urban metropolitan city.
I chose SJU because of its high academia records, and the fact that it is a very diverse institution that respects all people from various backgrounds.
