Tour Guide at St. John's University
Class of 2020
Hometown: Middletown, NJ
Major: Government & Politics
I chose St. John's because of its proximity to New York City and its internship opportunities. I also felt right at home when I stepped onto the campus. There was an obvious sense of community and I wanted to be a part of it.
I have grown so much spiritually since I came to St. John's. The atmosphere here is really welcoming and encourages self-reflection, something that I find invaluable. I have also become much more confident in myself and in my abilities as a student and a professional.
My favorite memory as a Johnny was the day I was accepted into my sorority. I am so blessed to be a part of a group of such strong and beautiful women. I could not imagine my life without them.
St. John's Study Abroad program is something that makes it different from a lot of other colleges. The program is very well developed and makes the option to study abroad achievable and affordable. Even freshman can participate in a short term study abroad program, which I took part in during the Spring 2017 term. I went to Rome, had an amazing time and made friends that I have remained close with. I can not wait to go abroad again this coming fall (2018). I highly recommend taking advantage of this program.
